Totally agree with you mate! It's fucked because that was a good venue. On happier news, the new metal venue at Marquis O'Lorne in Lambton (Newcastle) is really good with a nice metal feel and even named the House of Steel! Checked it out 4 the first time @ Metal Bloody Metal last weekend...

I rocked up to a Terror (Hardcore) gig in Newcastle not knowing who these guys were, and the venue was packed out on a Thursday night, Then you have Mystic Circle (Black Metal) a band that I did know, have only a small handfull of people turn up also on a Thursday night, so the scene is quiet...

Are FROM THE DARK still around in NZ??? They used to send me their promos etc, also I know of 2 comps going around (The first Friday the 13th of the Millennium and the Last Friday etc.) That had some good NZ metal bands on them. D.I.C. are funny as hell and I agree Dawn of Azazel fucking shread!

Yeah big James Boags Fan Loved the draught when I was in Tassy but cant find it anywhere on the mainland so I've decided to move down tassy sometime in the future for that reason haha, also a extremly hard beer to find but fucking amazing and costly is Hazards Ale its a small tassy beer brewed...

Yeah I think Mark said that they are only able to rehearse before gigs, so very rarely. As for gigs I beleive the first is going to be in about 3 or 4 months time with Nazxul! (But don't hold me to that, 4 not 100% about Nazxul) In Sydney that is!
