Cover of "11:11" by It Prevails (mix critique)

It's been a while since I've done any sort of mixing so I figured I would give this song a shot. I wrote out tabs for this and made a cover years ago and thought it would be cool to revisit. I can provide you with any information you'd like and can upload stems as well. Let me know what you guys...

Check out the mix on my new project (FFO The Dillinger Escape Plan)

Personally I would use some different drum samples, especially the cymbals. SD2 has some decent cymbals on the metal foundry expansion. The guitars also sound super hollow. I would be down to give this a shot.

    MIXING TIME: Entombed-Wolverine Blues Cover

Had a lot of fun with this one. Ran the guitars through my HM2 with great results.

    Signals Audio Drum Samples?

Hey guys, I recently lost all of my data on my computer which included a crap load of drum samples. Among these was the free samples pack that Signals Audio had to download from their website, but since then they have taken those samples down. Does anyone still have those so I can get my hands...

HM-2core band. (FFO Black Breath/Nails/Harm's Way etc)

I would say the guitars could be a bit louder and also maybe bring them up on the high end to make that grind sound even more present. When I listen to bands like this I want the guitar to sound like it's actually gonna destroy my speakers. Do you have raw tracks? I would love to give a mix like...

    Hardcore/Metal riff - d-beats/blasts/feedback - Ibby 7

The kick really shouldn't be this clicky. Maybe try something with less click and more boom and body. Actually, that might not be the best description. Maybe "lo-fi" would be better.

    Bass less Hardcore Demo Mix

Guitar tone reminds me of these guys: http://bearwitness.bandcamp.com/album/iconoclast I agree, drums sound way too polished, expecially the snare.

New Live Intro --- Jazz + Djent = Djazz ?

Definitely this. The sax is too loud as well.

How can i make this sound better

Well for starters, drums are completely flat and have no punch at all. They just sound like what you might get on guitar pro or something. Hard to tell otherwise, because without good sounding drums, the rest of the mix just falls flat.

A little something I recorded and mixed for my band. (Post-Rock/Metal/Hardcore)

This is a song that I wrote, recorded, and mixed for my band. It's still a work in progress and nowhere done being written, but let me know what you think of the mix. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/13361701/song%20idea.wav

Would you pay $50 for this mix?

Toooooooo much bass! Besides that it's alright. 50 bucks? Maybe.

If you were Alan Douches and you were going mastering this...

This sounds pretty good honestly. Maybe a different snare? It's a big out of place in this mix.

San Diego Pop-Punk with a Twist! (First Axe-Fx II Mix)

Hey I know these dudes! This sounds pretty good. I'm not really sure what you could change. The snare could have a bit more body that's it really.

    Contortionist- Oscillator Partial Cover

Guitars sound a bit muddy for The Contortionist.
