    Best album (again)

I voted for Still Life--love the story, great musicianship on that album. I first got into Opeth about a year ago kinda randomly after hearing about Soilwork (Mikael features on the song A Predator's Portrait). Here I am now, and they are my favorite band. I first got into metal way back in...

    worst songs ever?

More than anything, I wish people would quit sucking the White Stripes' cocks. Everyone seems to think that they are the best rock band since Zeppelin (load of shit). My friend absolutely loves that White Stripes crap, thinks that their guitarist is the BEST HE'S EVER SEEN. What a load! He is at...

Top Ten Albums That Inspired/Touched You

10 touching albums, eh? Tool - Lateralus: Reminds me of driving through the middle of nowhere on a brisk fall afternoon, and I love that feeling. Tool - Aenema: Eulogy is a very moving song for some reason to me... Opeth - Morningrise: To Bid You Farewell? There is no question on this CD...

What do want to do with George W. Bush?

Wow. Have you read the Quran? Do you know what the Quran is? BEcause at no point in it does it say this. The media drill the "definition" of jihad into our minds. But this definition is simply not true. Jihad is the idea that if someone does not have a religion, it is one's duty as a Muslim to...

    Drumming in Deliverance...

The double bass pedals sounded well sweet on Deliverance and I thought that overall on the album they sounded thicker and also more precise. It's hard to describe it, but I am a big fan of the way the drums sound on this album. Much props to Martin for songs like Wreath and Master's Apprentices...
