Grounding that way is ok! Just make sure that this is the only place that you connet to the chassis otherwise you might get groundloops and hum. And if you install turbo and ssc boards check that you dont create ground loop by using the metal stands with those (I dont remember how those pcb's...

Thats the way I'm used to do it and no hum problems at all :) And the size was m3 iirc..

I'm using nylons in my build. The only connection to chassis ground is in my input xlr and it's in star ground with my iec socket. :)

Put the switch in line with live or both. But If you really are unsure please ask some electrician to do the work, quick job to do :) And to noodles: Check Gyraf site http://gyraf.dk/gy_pd/1176/ You can find schematics there. And for boards check mnats site http://mnats.net/

I used DPST but you can use SPDT also and for bypass and turbo I used lorlin rotary switches 4x3 iirc. For connecting the power cables to the switch I used these "insulated crimp connectors :)

I just finished my gssl also, great piece of hardware. Also finished 1176 and Neve 1073 and now I'm building two more 1176's. The second one is almost ready :) Just be really careful and multimeter is your best friend. You can also just connect the neutral to the power switch if you like!

Thanks for your input! I had a split harmonizer in guitar group, it makes the tone sound littlebit out of phase so i took it off. I also had a little eq scoop at about 200hz so I took that off also and uploaded a new version. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/12578903/NarcosynthesisSeditv2.mp3
