Wow! I had no idea this place was still up and running. I came here because I found an Opeth/Nevermore ticket stub in the house, but have no recollection of attending the show. Must have been a good one :). Looking at some old posts did not help shed any more light on it.

me? Yeah, I know. About two and a half years! I never stopped loving the band though. I'll be wearing a grey Nevermore work shirt at the show tomorrow (but I'm thinking I won't be the only one.) I'm also going to Yngwie tonight at the State Theatre in Falls Church.

I haven't posted in a while here, but I'll be there. I think this is the first time Nevermore has headlined Jaxx since May 2001. It's been a long time coming.

Hey if you can't trust DVDTalk forum members on this, who can you trust! His stage presence is just an act. Sure, he makes fun of some people in the audience, but its funny as hell. If you ever talk to him before or after the show, he's one of the nicest, down-to-earth people you'll meet...

I too experienced the band for the first time on Friday. Pretty awesome stuff. I will definitely be picking up the newest release.

Yup, I'll be there! Thanks for picking up the tickets PG. I love Nevemore, SYL, Type O, and the Devin Townsend Band (if they wind up playing the show). Definitely wouldn't mind seeing Danzig, Cradle, Dimmu, Bodom, Deicide, or Symphony X either! This is gonna rule.

The funniest moment HAD to be during Dragonforce's set. The mic stand falls over, no one comes out to fix it...so the lead singer notices it on the ground and instead of picking it up with his hands, he tries to step on the rounded bottom of the stand and bring it back to standing position with...
