On the old Opeth logo, there is a horizontal line that crossed the "p". Is the meant to be an upside down cross?

On Deliverance I don't understand the titles to Wreath, Master's Apprentices, and By the Pain I see in Others. Wreath seems to be about a nightmare, but what does wreath actually mean....same with MA and BTPISIO. What are the songs about, the titles don't seem to jive with the subject matter...

I know that Opeth is not one of those satanic death metal bands (one of the many reason I like their music). Then why is it that Mikael sometimes makes satanic references at their concerts? Is it just used as a gimmick to get the fans all riled up? Any thoughts on this?
