Yeah, that is a bit old. But yeah, it sure is incredible. Have seen a bunch of this online, maybe even better.

I don't really care if I won't learn from the new Alexi instructional DVD, I just want to have one and somehow have a collection of the DVDs. And for a DVD that has a lot of stuff in it, I'm sure there is something I can learn from it, even a little.

The site that I get my tutorial in this matter was already given. But Dylan's advice is pretty much new and quite good too. You can go on the internet and just adapt every warmup routine out there to a 7 string. Even the CAGED system works with the Low B. They just have the same shape as the E...

I totally agree with Gregg here. In that way, you'll know that type of song you will pursue to learn and play not just copying the songs that is already there. And practice, practice and practice is the only way for you to get better.

You did okay with playing the guitar but I really can't understand what you were saying. Follow the pointers that ahjteam had pointed out. If you have a much better video recorder, try using one. Hope to see your second video lesson :rock:

Regular practice would be the common answer. Try remembering the songs that you used to play, start with easy to intermediate one. Don't push yourself into getting back at playing in just few months. It's just a matter of time, and of course, practice.

Sorry for bothering an old thread but I too want to relearn hot to play sax. It's been quite some time since I played one. Anyone here that plays sax?

I have an old version (back then) of that rectifier and for me it is much better than the new ones. The sounds are better produced.

I've got to agree on that one. When listening to that record, I usually turn down the volume on my headset, if I can't turn down on the bass.

Well just like you, I am just know how to play the piano. I am not considering myself as a good piano player. But I love piano music so I somehow think to enroll for proper lessons.
