for original poster: just get the first press of Damnation LP and enjoy! Dunno about re-release, it may be just as great, may be just a cd to vinyl transfer. CD sucks. And I agree to some other poster who told that Watershed 5.1 mix is great! I like also to listen just the center speaker...

I have both and none of them sounds good, not as good as CD (I am vinyl friek myself). I wish they used some better source than CD. MAYH has even text copied from Orchid album, that it is recorded in 1994 and bla bla... and after that there is aslo correct information... quite stupid mistake...

Well, since this thread is called "Honest opinions on Watershed" then it is just my honest opinion, and I am not bashing the band becouse I don't like Watershed so much. I am happy if Mikael is happy... and I am also happy that most albums and most songs are my favorites anyway.

I've been fan for almost 10 years now and Watershed is't really anything special compared to all other Opeth albums... I'd say it first album that is feels worse than previous album... actually worse than almost all previous albums... saying that makes me really sad... the album has no flow, no...

My dream is simple... I hope they realease an album which slays all previous Opeth albums! Touring with them would be awesome too, or just opening one night... not lame dream at all btw.
