    I took a few lessons from a self-taught drummer, but I learned a lot on my own too. I practice whatever I feel like; with the band, it's like 2-4 hours, on my own, maybe about an hour and a half on average. Air drumming just seems to happen a lot too, it really helps.

    I keep my fingers about 3/4ths of the way across the pick and my hand almost-fisted. It helps a lot, but I play drums too, so that might help my arms a little. PRACTICE!
