    Most underrated COB song

I agree Exedo. Deadnight warrior is boring to me and Lake Bodom has possibly the greatest COB riff of all time and a great ending, but the rest of the song is pretty meh. The nail, Touch, Red Light pt 1, and In the shadows are brilliant. And it's funny what Norbix said because those 4 songs I...

    COB start writing new album

Hate to say it Joonas but if it's anything like the last album, Blooddrunk, Are you Dead yet, or even Hatecrew Deathroll then I will endure the music but it won't reach me like the first 3 did. I know it is pretty ridiculous to think COB is going to revert to a style they had more than 10 years...

    Most underrated COB song

Yes The Nail is my favorite COB song. It kind of has a punk/metal mix and a ton of energy. And the middle of the song sums up what COB means to me perfectly.

    North American tour

I just went to the San Diego show last night and my voice is gone! That was my ninth time seeing Bodom, and that was the BEST I have ever seen them play. Alexi was completely on point, hitting all the notes, didn't seem drained like I have seen in the past. Great setlist and great to see the...

    15th Anniversary North American Tour

That's an excellent idea Kilon. I am stoked because they are finally coming back to my home town of San Diego California. I need to start flooding their Facebook stuff and inbox with requests for "The complete Something Wild Album" in C# too of course. That would be awesome.

    Ordering Wacken Tickets?

Hello I am trying to make it to Wacken this coming year, and if any of you have gone, you know you have to order tickets from metaltix.com. I go through all the stuff but when I click "send order" it takes me to this screen where I am supposed to give my credit card information but it...

what alexander kuoppala have been doing recently!!

Wow his guitar tone is better than Alexi's, he is currently technically better than Alexi, and his music sounds way sicker than current COB. Alright guys, it was a good run, but I am jumping the COB ship and going for the Alexander Kuoppala Experience. Wish me luck.

    is it roopes fault?

Joonas you have come a long way since your starry-eyed blind love for COB back in the day. You understand that new COB isn't what it can be, and may not ever be what it can be again. With that said, I don't think it is Roope's fault even though for me, Roope is a negative presence in the...

    SetList Shakeup

I wish they would play the entire SW album in C# tuning. It wouldn't be that difficult as it is only 7 songs. That's just a dream though. I think Downfall is ready for a long overdue dump, and Kissing the Shadows needs to make it into the American setlists. Love to see Hatebreeder live and...

    SONG SURVIVOR II

The Nail. My two favorite forms of music over my lifetime have been metal and punk. Pennywise and Bad religion were huge when I was in middle school and so. The nail starts out like a punk song, then has my favorite Bodom section of all time, which is the middle interlude part. All slow...

    Newcomer - Which album?

You and I have obviously different tastes in music, aside from the fact that we have been huge COB fans, which is fine. If i were to recommend anything from SW it would be The Nail, Red Light Part 1, Touch, and In the Shadows. Lake B has the most legendary Bodom riff of all time, and Deadnight...

    Newcomer - Which album?

Something Wild is by far their best album. Follow the Reaper for me was the easiest to get into, but once I got into Hatebreeder and Something Wild they were my favorites. The Wild has the best melodies that sound like something out of the Castlevania video game, aka Bach on crack, which is...

    Was it Worth it?

I like your Avatar. Ratatouille is one of my favorite animated movies of all time, if not the top.

    Was it Worth it?

See people aren't being honest with themselves. With old Bodom music people would be like "That song was f'ing awesome and that is all I have to say about that." With this song people are saying "Well it was good here, but it wasn't good there." That is how I know people aren't totally stoked...

    It was NOT worth it.

I could dangle my ballsack in front of you, the string would be taught. Are you in San Diego California, because if you are lets roll.

    It was NOT worth it.

Another thing that a previous poster mentioned about them going mainstream. It doesn't give me a lot of hope that less interesting more intermediate music is what is mainstream. Maybe minus the vocals, I don't understand how early Bodom could NOT be mainstream. It is brilliant.

    It was NOT worth it.

I mean SNBN and Kissing the Shadows are brilliant solos, but I would like to reel off all of the great COB solos. I love the two Deadnight warrior solos, Red Light in My Eyes part 1 solos, The Nail Outro Solo (The middle of The Nail being my favorite Bodom part of all time), Touch Like Angel...

    It was NOT worth it.

God, I have been so disappointed at COB's last 2 albums, even though AYDY has some decent stuff on it, it just doesn't have what it takes to make me listen to it over and over again, unlike the big 3. I just got done listening to "Was it Worth it" on youtube, and damn what a disappointing...

How long have you been a Bodom fan?

The year was 2002 and I was a 19 year old in my second year of college. My brother who was 14 at the time and I were huge Metallica fans. One day my brother downloaded an In Flames cover of Metallica's "Eye of the Beholder". We both thought it was a pretty good cover, so we decided to...

    Why do people hate COB?

Good point. I can see where singing about the reaper can be a little fantastic. Thanks for the reply.
