Sure, entertainment news sites work, but there's still a bunch of "Sebastian Bach said WHAT about Chris Farley?!" Follow a page, activate notifications, bam. Everything I need without scrolling.
Getting to-the-second news about bands, comedians, conventions, and tours instead of being left saying, "I wish I knew about that," is a nice thing. I've unfollowed most of my friend list, so everything's peachy now.
"Next week my new website will be available to everyone who wants to follow my work and buy my music and paintings. I'll let you know, but if you want to bookmark the link is: www.jamesdhbsheppard.com!"
I dunno. Facebook is a bucket of shit now. It has its upsides, but almost everyone is entirely unlikable and annoying due to "my politics are right, and you're wrong" bullshit.
"Friday 06/19 I'm going to talk about my new project: DHB "Dead Heart Breaks", my new website, my paintings and more!
I'll be live at 7 pm (pacific time) on my Facebook page!

It was gaining steam for a while, then whoever was helping him with merch wound up forging his signature on things... Then he got married... I hope he releases it.
