    Iced earth - Dystopia (2011)

The Glorious burden was a good album. The Gettysburg trilogy nails it. Most of the other songs are decent and some are great(Attilla, Waterloo). I think it's better than framing armageddon.

So it wasn't really Stucifer. It was Stuicide?

    Iced earth - Dystopia (2011)

I am eager to know what tha peepz @ NM forum thinkz. Anyway, I think the two songs that can be heard below are pretty good, I hope there are better ones on the album though. Stu is a good choice for a singer and I think he has a bit of Barlow and Ripper in him. I must confess I never...

    landscapes from your country

It's a beerholder with the canadian flag. :) I got it from canadian dudes 2 tents from mine in Wacken 2009. I first offered them harðfiskur : dried fish from Iceland. A lucrative trade. Yes, it's a farm down in the left corner in the last pic.

Alec's Tavern : The Frost Blast

I believe thath Åkerfeldt is fed up with metal stereotypes and metal obligations. Plus he's really into 70s prog and some album covers in that era had members on the cover(?). I'm kind of laughing inside for all the serious Opeth fans that will dislike it. I know a serious guy who definately...

Well, I certainly don't think it's rubbish as I like flutes and some folky new age stuff and cheesy keyboards/electronics. But it takes some time getting into. The songs flow into one another so I look at them sometimes as a one piece. The album certainly divide fans. It's Devin's favorite off...

Ooo.. I like this. But won't get it because of political reasons. :yuk:

Alec's Tavern : The Frost Blast

Hmm.. I thought it was photoshopped @ first. Confused at first but grew to like it... Opeth has always been a serious band, but maybe it's time to evolve a bit. The cover might be seen as dead serious also... I keep an open mind about the progressive direction they'll probably take. And I...

    New Opeth album cover

Opython I thought the thread starter had photoshopped it, seriously. Upon realizing it wasn't so I became confused, but I grew to like it. Change isn't necessarily bad. Keep an open mind. I'm a 70s prog fan as well.

    Love of Live (part två)

Crap, hope they do better @ Tuska. I actually am more into their new stuff so maybe I'll dig it more. Crappy to hear about those super nice black metal morons like Watain. I'll just do what I feel like... Satan is freeedom!! BLARGH!

Well, I wouldn't wanna state that, but yes sometimes. A bit to long and monotone at times. He has done more awesome atmosheric stuff in the past. But I'll have to give this one further spins. Feather, Heart baby and Blackberry are for instance very good. I was listening the the polish...

Yes I find it a bit difficult also at the beginning, but I'm listening more to it and there are a few tracks that impress.

Nice post, Dinka. :p Me? Well, I don't like pure blackmetal, I think there has to be a spicey element involved. Some folk metal is just pretentious and drunkards tried to have a good time or people trying to be special with special moves and clothes. Jordpuls doesn't remind me of any of that.
