good review although I think swan song is the best one. "meandering", "without cohesion" could be applied to any song on the album.

Swansong is by far the least plain song on the album.

I think it's their weakest effort. Nothing memorable. Lacks strong melodies, especially from the keyboards which sometimes feel unnecessarily prominent at times (when it's just chords and layers). Riffs feels like it's all chugga-chugga-chugga. Good guitar playing but that truly counts for...

yeah new Arcturus is good. thought it would suck cuz of production but it works.

decent verses, mediocre chorus. it's just a single. metal singles are always the worst. still got some hope for the full album!
