This thread illustrates the point that there is no such thing as perfect tone, and that "good" tone is subjective.

I use the Radial ProDI to accomplish this, and recommend this as a potential solution for the OP. http://www.radialeng.com/prodi.php Splits the signal so you can record the DI direct into your DAW, while monitoring through a real amp. This is also a great tool to have if you want to track...

Awesome work. Can we get a small clip of just the 3 raw bass tones for reference? (1-low end Ermz bass duty, 2-higher end gritty Ola bass, and 3-blended together) Doesn't have to be the whole track, but just a sample for reference? Loving the blend of the two.

Awesome production, killer riffs and playing, and the vocals *sound* good, but the vocal melodies just aren't as catchy as older tunes.

Sounds great. I love the guitar tone. Good mix too. Definitely has the doom vibe, but the guitars could sound just a *tad* darker and not so bright to get a nice "doom" sound. If they were a bit darker, it might not clash so much with the vocals as-is. Good job.
