    Fallout 4?

if you switch companions and send dogmeat to sanctuary hills, you'll think he's glitched and gone forever. He's chilling at one of the dog houses, for me he was behind the second house on the right before the bridge facing south.

in preferences you can also set that to be a little volume knob. There's also take volume envelopes and pre-fx volume envelopes if you really need to tweak the levels before the fx chain. I use take volume envelopes a ton.

    WAVs and Reaper

Depends on how those guys were preparing the files for mixing. Simply consolidating the files shouldn't change the gain. If they are exporting through plugins or normalizing in a batch export process then that would explain the issue. Just trim the item volume! There's a volume control on...

    Angling monitors

Got out my measuring tape, they are actually 58" apart from the center of each woofer. Bad guess, sorry. The far corner of each monitor is 24" from the front wall and 48" from the side. There was a thread here a year or two ago with some advice, can't be bothered to search for it at this...

    Angling monitors

My Focal's have little thumb screws at the bottom to tilt. I'm using that feature because the tweeters are higher than ear level (they sit on top of another set). How far is about 68". Far enough that left, center and right are 3 distinct positions. most home studios have them half as far apart...

Game looks amazing from what they showed at the conference. customizable weapons, custom power armor, using scrap to construct outposts with generators and turrets and lights, minigames on the PipBoy, just tons of awesome stuff way beyond what I was expecting. release date is Nov 10 2015...

    Plugin Slate VMR vs VCC

odd man out I guess. VCC offers something unique that your daw stock plugins don't cover. Didn't find the eq and compressors to be very special. I've seen 1176s a hundred times before.

Your best and worst gear purchases

Really cool thread. Interesting that a few things have come up a bunch of times. Best: REAPER - so flexible, hasn't let me down. $60 for 5 years of updates. iZotope RX - simply magic. Slate Trigger EX - easy to figure out and works great Worst: KRK headphones - didn't sound that great, any...

Impulse bought the Lego Movie game, thinking that my daughter could play it (she's 4) and I've ended up playing for many many hours more than her. More challenging than I thought it would be, if you miss the dialog hint you'll be stuck in one area for a long time till you figure the puzzle out.

Well maybe Fallout 3 (2008) was based on what was used for Oblivion (2007), then came New Vegas (2010) and Skyrim (2011). I have Oblivion but haven't played it yet.
