Thomas is one of the most underrated bass players in rock history and general history too. His playing on those albums was nothing short of amazing and his songwriting was strong too.

I always thought Vai's sense of humor was kinda dry. It seems he tries to be Frank Zappa too much sometimes but lacks his sense of humor. Not surprising, since Zappa had plenty of it!:lol: :)

I think it's real clever of SX not to be overly active like, say, Dream Theater. Releasing albums every second year really isn't a wise thing to do if you are no longer in your heyday. That's not to say SX belong to that group, but I think it's really good that they take their time and take it...

I can't listen to these new prog metal groups, they all just sound the same to me. All pretentiousness and very little originality. DT sucks nowadays, so the only prog metal band I still am hopeful about is SX.;)
