AS DARKNESS DIES signed a worldwide Deal with Pure Steel Records

As a further enhancement of the US division of PSR, we are proud to announce that As Darkness This (formerly Graven Image) have signed a worldwide deal with us. The new album "Life Incomplete" will be released this year and was produced by Mike Vescera (Obsession, Ex-Y. Malmsteen).

Bandstatment:
As Darkness Dies (ADD) are pleased to too have signed with “Pure Steele Records” from Germany. This culminates a lot of hard work and effort by the band and our producer Michael Vescera (Obsession, Loudness, Yngwie Malmsteen, Animetal USA) guiding us every step along the way. To go from local band to being a signed band is something every musician dreams of; we have been given that chance, and opportunity. Art is art regardless of the medium, and to have the chance to get it onto a world stage is something every artist hopes and dreams about. We are looking forward to the future, and looking back on the past, and how and where it all started, a couple of guys playing music just hoping they were good enough for people to like what it is that they are putting together.

Here’s to all the possibilities, aspirations and dreams, and to giving people something they can hold on too. Music is more powerful than any other force in life because it sums up everything in life. And we all love that one song. Here’s to music, here’s to all it can bring out in each and every one of us.

A year and half ago we started a project that would become a part of our very being. 11 days of recording and guidance from an icon and friend, Michael Vescera, months of production time and we are finally seeing our passion become a reality. As we get closer to the finish line we wanted to share with you some clips of our journey thus far. The release date of the AS DARKNESS DIES album „As Darkness Dies“ on CD is October 30th, 2015. The pre-order phase will start on October 16th, 2015 in our webshop.

Founded under the name Graven Image („The Future Started Yesterday“, 2012), AS DARKNESS DIES already started some years ago. Under the new moniker they now release a brand new act called „As Darkness Dies“.

On this record the US-Power Metallers recorded eleven new, blasting tracks and also one bonus song, that won’t let down any fan of classical Heavy Metal sounds. Twin guitar harmonies in the ancient tradition, melodic, emotional and sophisticated vocals as well as the tight drumming of Harry Blackwell (ex-Steel Prophet) come up against catchy, straight song structures. By the way, „As Darkness Dies“ was produced by scene pioneer Mike Vescera (Obsession, ex-Yngwie Malmsteen).
