ATTICK DEMONS from Portugal have signed a worldwide deal with PURE STEEL RECORDS. After the self-titled EP of 2000, the first full-length album "Atlantis" (Soundcheck Rock Hard(Germany): 7th place) will be released in August. The band plays classic heavy metal with clear reminiscences of IRON MAIDEN, mixed with influences from the U.S. metal of the 80ies. Fittingly, with Paul Di'Anno and Ross The Boss 2 well-known metal bards are appearing as guests.

Finally it’s done: After several demos and an EP over the years the first full length album of the Portuguese band ATTICK DEMONS, who have been active in the underground for already 15 years, is ready.

The new, ¾-hour long piece "Atlantis" offers greatly played, classical Heavy/Power Metal with some powerful doublebass-parts and a singer, where you even think, that he is the missing son of Bruce Dickinson. Especially „The Flame of Eternal Knowledge“ and „City of Golden Gates“ show all the disciples of Iron Maiden, that current bands can now sound even more authentic to the early days of the metal-legend, as it is done by the originals now. Fitting to this, Ex-Manowar guitarist Ross the Boss and Ex-Iron Maiden vocalist Paul Di’Anno are appearing as guest-musicians on the title track.

But not only the vocals of Artur Almeida are so heavy Maiden-oriented, the first class, harmonic twin-guitar-work, the also existent gallop-parts and the pumping bass-line remember in a few moments back to
them, although influences of bands like Judas Priest and some old school US Metal-bands can be heard too.

In a nutshell: This disc is the holy grail for all those who had been very disappointed by "The Final Frontier" and "A Matter Of Life And Death".

The release date of the new album by ATTICK DEMONS „Let's Raise Hell“ on CD is August 12th, 2016. The pre-order phase will start on Juli 29th, 2016 in our webshop.

2016 is a year to celebrate for both ATTICK DEMONS and their fans: it's the band's 20th anniversary… and there is not a better way to commemorate this impressive mark than to look to the future and release a new album that is a huge step forward in the Portuguese Classic Heavy Metal band!

Being in the game for years of successful music, ATTICK DEMONS will manage to surprise and to delight with their album “Let´s Raise Hell”. Magic twin guitar leads, pumping and impulsive bass parts, and a voice that naturally evokes that of Bruce Dickinson are combined to offer nine overwhelmingly powerful songs that are in a class of their own.
