GNMD Poll: Top Ten Albums of 1992

Bone Machine is hitched between two great Waits studio albums, Rain Dogs and Mule Variations, and it can't touch either of them. Still some good material on it though. I'm a big fan of "Earth Died Screaming."
Technically it's hitched between Franks Wild Years and The Black Rider. Bone Machine has long been my favorite of his. One of his darkest and most abrasive yet peppered with moments of beauty like "Who are You", "A Little Rain" and "Whistle Down the Wind". Pleased to see it get the top spot. Nice seeing Shonen Knife in the final list, too.

Yeah, I remembered Wild Years and Black Rider, but I set them aside since they're more like soundtracks. But you're right that they do still count as studio (and not live) recordings.

If I hadn't already included Faith No More's "Angel Dust" in the metal poll for 1992, I would have included it here, thus it would have taken the 3rd place.
