Hey people
Im not sure if peaking is the right term so correct me if im wrong but whenever i try to mix smth using Cubase 5 as my DAW and Line 6 ux2 as my soundcard..As the tracks increases in number i hear a great deal of peaking..The speaker suddenly sounds broken..
Now i heard this happens because of having low RAM..But i mix in my HP Pavillion g6 which has 4gb ram space. So is there any way to reduce peaking..My latency is already very low..

Thanks in advance
Stay SIC :headbang:

Peaking is when a sound or instrument's level is too loud or over-driven.
What your experiencing sounds like a CPU issue.
If your using an ASIO driver it's probably going crazy cause of a weird buffer configuration.
L6 UX2's aren't the greatest interface when it comes to latency.
The driver is probably just wigging out.
I had the same problem.
I upgraded to a MOTU Track16 and never looked back.
