Like zirkonflex said, less loudness is the main thing. Then you have to make sure most if not all of your bass frequencies are in mono as this can cause a problem when cutting the vinyl making the needle jump out, so make sure your low-end is pretty tight and not all over the place
If you're not sure though, I would sent the mix to a mastering engineer with experience with mastering for vinyl
Besides the mono bass and conservative limiting already mentioned, sibilance can be a huge problem. Taking care of any de-essing or over sizzily cymbals at the mix stage is best.
