Snowy Owl in Finland!

Now we know the truth!. Snowy was caught on CAMERA in Helsinki's Olympiastadion during the EURO 2008 Qualifier between Finland and Belgium.

So, Matt, How was Finland?

People just didn't know he was Matt so they named him Bubi. He got lots of airtime on TV all over Europe after that football game last June and became a celebrity.

Yes...I was over in Soumi for a spell. I figured it would be nice that time of year, and it was. Was crusing along by the football staidum and figured, what better way to see the game than to fly down to the pitch? Who needs a ticket? Even better to see that Finland kicked some butt in that game.

After wards, I went to the clubs to check out the metal bands, had a little Koskenkourva (which will affect your flight patterns!), caught some rays at Bodom beach, and gave thanks to the Lord at the National Cathedral. Saw Tarja walking around and resisted the urge to swoop down and peck her eyes out.

Later I flew up to Kittee and had a chance to hang out on Tuomas' beautiful island...I tell ya, an owl can feel at home there!

I hated to leave. Owls love Finland! But now, my secret is out!
