Tama iron cobra demon drive pedals

we just got these in at my store and i just got to play on them. and im not even a drummer and i can play ultra fast double bass with these thigns and clean to. they feel just like axis pedals but you can actully feel the pedals and doesent feel like your kicking air.

first of all, these pedals are made by PEARL, second of all they are nothing special, I'll stick with my 2 sets of dw 9000's

i like them about the same as my axis pedals but they are pretty sweet pedals.

Ive never tried the Axis or DD's. Im not actually a drummer but I do play for fun, ive got the Eliminators. Tried DW's and IC's prefered the Elims but Axis seem to be the choice for the death metal drummers. Light and nimble ftw!

axis tend to have a reputation of falling apart, and axis themselves is a relatively small operation that can have a difficult time keeping up with customer support. pearl would obviously not have such problems, the DD's might be a better investment. they also claim more adjustablility. they're the first that can go longboard/shortboard with a 4-screw adjustment.

yeah i wish the ajustment for the short to long board was a quicker job but if they made it quicker to do there might be problems with the pedal. but there nice pedals from what i can tell for not being a drummer
