The bass neck seems like a frikin' bow! (Question)

That's the point:

The bass neck should be straight like a line (__________), or have a little curve like a bow??

I'm asking this 'cause all the basses I've seem are the "bow like" type. None is straight like a line, and if you try to lower the strings near to the neck (smooth playing) it starts giving the "fret noise".

There should be a very small curve(inward curve, NOT outward), almost straight , but not quite.
Lower the strings to the max, then raise them until the buzz stops.To check the most correct height, press down on the 5th fret with your left hand and on the 14th/15th fret with your right hand on of the string in question, there should be a slight opening between the string and the 9th and 10th frets. There should be no buzz now.

I'll try it. All the strings are buzzing in the same fret (8th - 9th), maybe 'cause I put the strings really low, the lowest possible. So it's just a matter of fine tunning.
