My brother and I were just watching the Rainbow Live in Munich DVD before hearing the news. DIO will always go down as the METAL VOCAL GOD. Metal sign up in the air for the legend.

The man's gone off to headline the great gig in the sky. Truly a major loss to metal in general. He's leaving one hell of a legacy, though, and he won't be forgotten.

Totally agree Ronnie had an amazing voice I been going through my early Rainbow albums (all on vinyl) I still love stuff like Stargazer Kill the King etc
