And I agree re Alice Cooper and the other opening bands that I never even heard of. And the Van Halen/Kool & the Gang is clearly a nostalgia package. BUT--I disagree with you on Thin Lizzy. Now THAT would be awesome to see! Of course, it's not the same without the magic of Phil Lynott but I have come to really appreciate the band, and now recognize how much influence they had on Maiden.
