Nice review. Well written.
Mercenary are grossly underated! The vocals aren't pointlessly high pitched or anything (like Tobias Sammet/timo tolki or whatever)... They're just clean and rich with melody. They have alot of riffs far heavier than even The Haunted are playing. Not to get on the case of your opinion, but all mercenary are offering is fucking epic melody minus the cheese with seven strings chugging out thunderous rhythms. I can't comprehend why any fan of extreme music could dislike them.
Sounds like the Haunted played a gash set, but to be honest, They are the shit either way. Anders is pure legend. And the rhythm section grab the nuts and demand mosh everytime. Wish Dolving didn't wet himself and forget lyrics on stage though.
