A couple suggestions of my own for BARfest '08........
Mechanical Poet - They are a very kickass prog. band from Russia with some very unique stuff. I love everything i have heard from them. Check them out here, http://www.myspace.com/mechanicalpoetband, if you aren't already familiar. If you are familiar then you probably would agree that they would be great to check out.
Space Odyssey - Just kickass stuff! I know at least six people who would kill to see this project do a show around these parts. A couple of them don't even listen to this type of music but still SO kicks their asses everytime.
Aghora - Kickass Prog Metal Band based in Florida. Has a female singer who i think sounds awesome. They would be awesome and i'm sure many who re familiar would agree. http://www.myspace.com/aghora

Aghora sounds awesome, really heavy... Mechanical Poet is a novel act. Very unique. It would be very cool to get some Ruskies over here!
