...is unfortunately, at this point, the weakest song ever by Abigail Williams

it aint bad, but its rather bland and uninspired for Abi's standards
Since its the opener of the new album...its kind of a turn off to be honest

well this song, as well as the new album grew on me. i absolutley hated it at first, as i noticed a huge change from the album prior to "In the abscence of light". i knew there was going to be a big change when the first announced that they were coming out with a new album and that it would be in E standard tuning. i knew that it was going to sound like pure black metal, rather than more syphonic. also the vocals, have that far away, kinda reverb sound found in most black metal bands, which i dont really prefer since i loved the loud and high pitched screams from the previous album. its safe to say the new album is good, it just takes some getting used to.
