Anyways, I'm sad. I'm going to college but I think I'm gonna fail, not that it's hard by any means but because working is the last thing on my list of things to do. Today I listened to music, messed about on the internet, watched tv and played the keyboard for a few hours. Everyone else from my college seems to have some work to do, I could be working on my own subjects, but damn at least I can do other things while I watch paint drying, with menial A-level work I can not.

I'm sat with all my mates from my old school, and I'm sure the majority of them will get their qualifications and go onto university. I also get this feeling every time I'm around them that my intelligence is above theirs, that there is something simple about them, and particularly around their gfs, damn I wish they didn't like stupid girls. I feel awkward around the rather slow ones At least I don't feel predatory around them cause at my *no exam or decent grades required* college I REALLY don't get enough lawl. I prefer it this way as women always take much higher priority than most things if they are availible, which luckily at my current place of work they aren't of a level of intelligence I'd consider worthwhile.

So yeah, I need to change my attitude if I'm to pass college, but my work ethic is based upon my core beliefs, and changing those is hard. Defying them with logic does not feel right; these pieces of paper that say I'm somehow qualified to earn more may be a better means to get the wife, car, house, private island and military that I want, but they aren't on the list of things I want. I'd rather not learn my lesson too late, if you know what I mean. Preparations for exams and coursework will begin for June.

Help with whatever, would be appreciated

Well, if you're really bummed out about the lack of stimulating human interaction, isn't knuckling down and getting your work done kind of in your best interests, even if it is tedious and uninspiring? You'll soon be able to study the stuff you're passionate about, and you'll be in a much better position to surround yourself with like-minded people. There isn't that much work to get done at A-Level, either. Just stay on top of the core reading you have to do each week and it'll be a piece of piss. It's important to remember that going to university isn't a rat-race-oriented "career choice", too; it's just marketed that way these days, sadly.

This is all coming from a world-class procrastinator, mind. I learned the hard way.

I found the new fascist cuntbag effort pretty underwhelming at first, but I've listened to it three or four times now, and it's really growing on me; it's a strong album. Opens with a nice metal version of Daudi Baldrs, too. Glemselens Elv and Sverddans are probably my favourite tracks, but there isn't any filler. Anybody else listening to this?

I liked it alright on first listen, but definitely a grower. As is the nature of most 'raw' black metal - the sorta thing that's really rewarding when it does grow on you. I'll probably order a copy.
