Survived an epic confrontation with an infamous local crackhead...who lived right next to me.
Shes been stealing her hydro power from the hallway with extension chords, and when the landlord is aorund she just leaves her door open so everyone can get a loock/whiff at her garbage collection.

I ended up pulling the plug on her, while my friends decided to slam the door shut (not before buying some stink bombs from a local store)
A good 30 minutes of her screaming and ranting about the white devil, before we snuck out the back door. When I got home she was out front as usual, asking me for smokes as usual.

Actually I take that back, it's growing on me.

Although imo its definitely not to be viewed as a metal album to be appreciated, more of a progressive rock thing going on.

Well, they got signed to a major label and have pretty much ditched most of the metal part of their sound now, so I'm trying to figure if this is just a cash in album on the whole - appealing more to the mainstream or if it's just a conscious effort for more variety.

Either way, some really catchy (not really in the conventional sense) tracks, reminds me a lot of Tool at some points, only slightly heavier.

Blood Mountain is a much more heavy album than this new one (Crack The Skye), so its really a choice between heavy or more traditional sounding prog.

Fyi, the current leak for the promo of the new one is missing the last 13 minute track, which is a bit of a bummer, also its only 128kb/s.

Hmm i went to see Turisas yesterday. It was okay but it could have been better. I hate the people who think "omg i'm at a metal concert so i have to much even if it's a very slow song". too bad they didnt split the crowd just before Rasputin. Dragonforce sucked, they didnt play pretty sloppy but i it's not my favorite genre. So I left the concert before nine o clock
