Drat, foiled again!
By which I mean some sort of ever so witty retort like "Oh, can't SEE it, eh? How about you take your head out from YOUR MUM's crotch?!?!?!"

Happy St. George's Day, everybody!
"This royal throne of kings, this scepter'd isle, This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars ... This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England" The fact that the patron saint of England was canonised for something even more blatantly made-up than the stuff the other saints did makes me grin. I like to think it was a bit of pub boasting that got out of hand. "Yeah? Well that's nuffin'. This one time, yeah? Be quiet. This one time, I slayed a dragon." "Cor, really, George?" "Yeah. Wings an' teef an' firey breaf an' everyfin. 'E weren't all they're cracked up to be. Quick boot to 'is scaley plums an' 'e went down like a pork pie at a Bar Mitzvah." |

Aye, Happy St. George's Day! I do wish Englanders would give more of a shit about St. George's day than St. Patrick's day, if they're to make a deal of any patron saint's day.
Mind, St. George as we know is the patron saint of many countries, but still. |

Irn-Bru is the second best thing in the world for a hangover, too - the actual best, of course, being more booze.
