My grandad has taken to repeating another new story, where he and a friend go to France on a motorbike and buy a bottle of wine as his father requested, only to come back over bumpy roads and tumbling rocks to realise it was vinegar.

I drink wine from glasses because I can pretend I'm Gaahl...oh wait, he's gay. Ah well.

I don't really remember getting home and I DEFINITELY don't remember putting Soulside Journey on but it must have happened because last fm never lies.

Awesome, Reading is overall rather shit, but it's got a Wychwood Brewery pub aptly named Hobgoblin. There's also a little place called The Rising Sun which is the local "metal pub" really, tiny place though.

Rising Sun's the only place I've been to on a night out in Reading. Looks like I might be going to Face Bar for some mate's gig on Thursday.

Reading is on the whole kinda nasty but there seems to be enough places to go.

Hobgobolin's alright, it has that kind of Terry Pratchetty novelty grottiness, lots of small little places to sit and drink. Although having said that.. considering the price of the drinks it could do with a little spruce up.

Oh and the walls and ceilings are decorated with the stickers of the 3200+ different ales they've served in it since it's opening, which is pretty awesome.
