At this one gig Sonata at Leeds Rios, these 3 cunts behind us in the crowd were being really obnoxious. They were these 'normal' sorts who obviously didn't realise/acknowledge the general etiquette at metal gigs, being exceptionally mouthy, offensive and getting arsey in the pit when things got a bit rowdy and everyone was getting fucked off at them. If I wasn't worried about getting barred from the venue I would've lost my shit. Fuck, even recalling it makes me angry.

Well, I do genuinely love it, but I hate almost everything to do with the culture of black metal and the kinds of people it seems to attract, at least on the internet (i.e.: philosophically illiterate twats with an unearned sense of superiority, who never tire of the sound of their own voices). The new chap just wants you to know that he likes Gorgoroth, though; cut him some slack and consider yourselves lucky, eh? ![]()

I like Alestorm too! Though they arn't the best out there in my opinion, I dunno I always seen Pirates as more of a Spanish/American thing ya know? Not really Scottish, I didn't like the way they seemingly rised from the aftermath of the Pirates of the Carribean movies. They don't sing about anything really interesting it's mostly fantasy metal... But it has a comedic charm, the music is serious though I like that (LOL HARPSICHORD). Black Sails at Midnight is a keeper that's all I know Quest of Vengeance is great.
My favorite band would probably be In Flames although I don't really know much about what they stand for or beleive in etc. From a purely shallow perspective I would say In Flames are really cool not too complicated but not too simple either. Artifacts in the Black Rain is a good example. |

Hehe, at least he's not a neo-Nazi.
![]() His interests are dos, but it's the way people list them that makes me laugh/despair.

I think the do not entry thing is a Sarcofago lyric (or slogan), but don't quote me on that one.
But yeah, Central & South American true/black metalheads on the whole are second to none when it comes to overzealousness, taking everything literally and all with no sense of self-irony. If I recall, Mexican metalheads en masse organised some "let's beat up emos" day. Needless to say Manowar are fucking huge there. |

thankyou lettuce, I like being amused
![]() Forgive me for bringing this up as it's kind of unrelated but: Damn straight, I don't think there is a single person out of the 196 that left a negative comment. I feel the urge to troll and give some over-religified turd a jolly good piece of butthurt. Quoting what I would put in the comments would offend good taste, I do infact like the mormon choir in some respects, infact it makes me look cool in front of the kids at school. But I can't stand it when people place the responsibility of a series of events on an invisible giant white bearded man in space. |
