*HELP!* Worms Armageddon Problem

Hey, I just picked up the PC version of Worms Armegeddon, and I'm having issues using "wormnet". Everything with the game works great, except when I go to use wormnet, the game closes automatically. I can see the game lobby for about 2 seconds, then WA closes, and brings me back to my desktop. I'm running the "Sold Out Software" version, which supposedly auto installs all the needed patches. Anyone experience this, or know of any solutions to remedy it?

Well can you intall patches manually?
i had this game a while back, but i never used wormnet..
i had problems with it too ..

I actually did find a patch that corrected that problem, but now once I click on the (UK1) link to access the wormnet lobby, I receive a message stating: "a fatal error has occured during connection". Ugh. Anyone??

Dude, I was never even able to get that game to run properly under XP no matter how many of their patches I tried! Big bummer! That game ruled. If I could get it goin again I might be able to help but no such luck.
