Flash game software

I've always wanted to build flash games, but when I used google I found nothing. Is there any free program or any really good and easy to use program for a price of about $80?

Also does anyone know a way to make an online game, that people can set up accounts in and play eachother. And any site where I can host that kind of game?

A good game creationg software would be Game Maker.

Just google it. Its not flash, but it has some pretty decent tutorials, and you can set it up for others to download and play.

You can trial flash or at least you could when Flash 8 came out. If you were to then use some other program or code so you could keep it forever, which you had obtained somehow would be your own choice :P

I've got Flash Professional 8, not using it to make flash games, I use it for movies. It's a cool program, but if you wan't to make good flash games, you'll need more than just this (which already is around $700). You also need a 3D-moddeling program, probably books about coding, if you want to use cartoonish-like models you'll need a tablet, etc.

It's all pretty expensive, so maybe Game Maker or RPG Maker are the best solutions, but you can't make great games with them, I tell you that.
