Itunes problem

I want to get the songs from the itunes on one of my computers and put them on the other. I clicked "save library" in itunes and saved the file to a flash drive. Its an xml file (I don't know what that is) and when I try to import it into itunes it doesn't work.

I think saving the library just saves a backup of what songs are listed in the library, and not the songs themselves. To copy the songs, you'll have to copy the files from your 'My Music' folder onto your flash disk and then put them on the other computer.

That is 100% correct. The .xml file simply contains a list of your songs and where they are located. The best thing to do would be to copy all of the MP3's on your old computer to your new one and do a normal File >> Add Folder to Library.

how about: iTunes sux, don't use it
