Introductions
Obviously some of the older posters on here know each other, but I don't and I think a lot of the new posters don't either, so lets introduce ourselves.
I'm Joe, I'm from Brookline MA, I'm a junior in high school turning 17 in a few weeks. I play guitar and write music; I hope to finish my first EP this summer. I love metal. Some favorites are Amon Amarth, Emperor, Vital Remains, In Flames, and Kreator. I love cheesecake, pizza, and steak. I love watching bad fantasy movies from the 80's. I can't decide whether Kull the Conqueror or Conan The Destroyer is better. Something like that or w/e.

Years ago, someone sent me an mp3 of Victorious March. This was the first time I'd ever heard Amon Amarth, and they've been my favourite band ever since. And VM has been my fav Amon Amarth song ever since, too.  I'm 19, and am going to school for Media Arts (filmmaking). |

i did start a thread like that, but no one reacted :S
well anyway to keep this thread going my real name is ahmed, but for some reason ppl call me amon (theres a story behind that), im 18 i live in canada but currently in middel east visiting family and friends. i love football (soccer for north americans) and a lot of other stuff so far my goals are grow my hair till my ass see amon amarth live atleast once meet amon amarth make it big one day with my band get my degree as engineering etc..

I'm Erik from Sweden.. 24 years old.. I spend my time playing, writing, ranting about and listening to music.. I have been known to work on occasion (it turns out paychecks are awesome) and sometimes I take some random course at the University but I really don't know what I'm going to do with my life when/if I grow up. I've listened to Amon Amarth for around eight years now.. though I'm not much of a fanboy.. I've only seen them once...
I normally don't care for contemporary bands.. I'm more in to stuff from the eighties and early nineties. NWOBHM, Thrash, Death, Black, Grind, Doom... Favorite Spice Girl: Scary Spice. |

I'm 25 from Australia. Been into AA since OSFTGH came out in 98. Been my fav band since. Seen them in Germany and Australia and will also be seeing them once more in Slovenia in a month! YES!! I'm one of the moderators on this page I have been for a while now. I run the amon amarth Myspace with the AA guys as well. I work at a music/hi fi store which I am fucking sick of. Have to get something else going. Piece. Next!!!!

I'm Gareth, people call me Gaz or Gazza. I'm 25 and come from Melbourne. Seen AA three times. I have no hair. I'm studying Law. I finish at the end of next year. One day I will be Amon Amarth's lawyer. Haha.

oh.. and also I'm 21, been a fan of AA since Versus the World came out, I must have seen them at least 6 times live. I don't really care about meeting them in person although I'd certainly be happy to, but I have more important goals in life I like drinking, I have long ass hair now (i should cut them a little) and i'm a heterosexual male.

My name is Kristian (Krystian according to the Polish part of the family), but most people just call me Bates. I'm 31, originally from Massachusetts, and I come from a long line of troublemakers. I'm a fairly recent AA fan, I think I first heard of them around Fate of Norns, but didn't really listen to them much until WOOOS came out... living out in the woods tends to keep you from finding new music easily. I've been a metalhead since I was a wee lad, I play a bit of bass, do a bit of blacksmithing, and muck around with computer games too much. Age of Conan fatalities for the win.

My name is Chad I'm from New Mexico (America). I've been into AA for actually only a year now. However they've definitely solidified themselves as my FAVORITE band of all time. And I would have to thank
 AA for me meeting my current girlfriend because if it wasn't for that talk I would've never met her  .Anyways yeah im 19 and currently working on getting my BULLSHIT credits out of the way in College. Im a year in so far. I play guitar, Im a songwriter, and I'm trying very hard to get a band started with my buddy.
