Exactly. Metal is the music of loathing. All metalheads loath metal. That's what makes them so fucking metal. That in turn causes them to loath themselves anymore, causing their metalness to rise in an ever-increasing spiral until they kill themselves or die from heavy metal poisoning.

Just a comment about "Peter". The reporter who wrote this preview is a huge Vader fan, and Peter from Vader is his "god". That piece of info should help whoever translates the rest of it.
