The CD Plus in my mall apparently has the $140 bundle from Metal Blade in their system so I told them to order one. I am still not canceling my NB order in case the store does not receive it. If it does come in, well then that's a bonus for me.

To the Canadians that posts here, just got word from metal blade Canada that amazon.ca and Cdplus will have a limited amount of the box set in stock. We're talking about 10 sets per each chain though so strictly limited!

Sure you say that you'll buy the album after you download it but there are loads of people out there who would just download the album and that's the end of that. First you download it, then someone else downloads it off you and so forth. How many of those people down the chain will actually buy the album. The band worked their asses off writing these songs and recording it. It's not about being rich and famous, it's about at least getting the respect from their fans to have the patience to wait for the arrival of the new album. They hardly make any money off the album sales as it is. For some of them, their previous day jobs earned way more money than being in the band. They could easily just say, "Fuck it" and just go back to their day jobs. Their efforts into this album or any other is way more than you waiting a measly few months or even a year for it. So give them a bit of respect.

Just found out from the metalblade site in Germany that you can order one of the editions and get the poster and AA ear plugs. I would only get the ear plugs if the album artwork covered the plugs entirely. Pics of the ear plugs would help. I already have $390.00 invested in this album(bobblehead set and both vinyls from NB and the North American bobblehead set), so what's another $40-$60.

on a serious note, if you're reading this, and I mentioned this in the other thread too, thank you for being so awesome about prices. The concept of getting a new cd/dvd, poster, and picture disc for $30 + shipping is still blowing my mind. most bands would charge more like $50 and if you priced it at $40 it would be completely reasonable (aside from the fact that this is Amon Amarth and so I would pay $100 if you decided to be assholes about it). The CD Plus website always sucks. You'll probably have to go to an actual store. My store had it in the system for a couple of weeks now, but I found out about it last week. Good luck!

In a month's time I shall be cranking dad's old studio speakers (yes he retired and gave me all his equipment) with the Bobbleheads riding on 2400 watts of pure viking sound

It's winter (fitting), the new house is up in the mountains, so I hope I make an avolanche of viking tunes, the neighbours better like it

I just hope they can withstand the banging alongside RL copies, then again probably plastic bobblies.
