I've heard horror stories about them forcing you to play on their servers and never stand alone though, hope it is not so!

Didn't work well for Diablo II online, so much damn lagging brought the joy out of the game

Though love, LOVE, Diablo and Diablo II when played single player on computer

Torchlight was fun too
