Since they are the 3 seperate files for each, is it for choice in mixing whichever you prefer with another snare with drumagog, or is there anyway of using all 3?

You slice them up into separate samples and trigger with drumagog.

Oh sweet. I'm listening now.
Ian Paice- I like it
Chad Smith- Ditto
VP- I thought I'd like it more, maybe I would without the ring.
Sensitone- Not bad, sounds usable
Starclassic Birch- I like this one too. It's just asking to be slammed!
Starclassic bubinga- I was quite interested to hear this one. I like the attack.

Overall I like the Ian, Chad and Birch best.

Cheers Ronnie!

you have a "damped" sample session with the VP snare as well. i used Moongel on some samples. one "open" snare and one "damped" snare

Donomega, you most likely don't have any programs installed that can open RAR compressed files, you need to download WinRAR http://www.rarlab.com/ in order to open the file!

Ronnie, you rule, thanks!

Thank you Ronnie. Great share. I like that beefy Ian Paice snare and I find the 3 mics blending very interesting.

you can of course mix the 3 channels as you like. the MD421 is just an option. standard is SM57/SM57 right haha

I made a quick test gog with the Ian Paice snare drum samples. It was made with an automated slicing process so I can't guarantee that it will work properly nor it's free from clicks. Note that It was pre-equalized and compressed to my own taste. It was made with Drumagog v4.xx. Feel free to tweak/improve it.
Hope it will be useful.
