Thanks Alot!
Im new to this forum, and this whole studio-thing, what kind of plugins do you guys recomend using this samples with? Edit: What I meant was a plugin that might make it easier to use this samples, rather then just "klicking" them out on the screen. :P |

hmm I'll upload my snares but im not sure if you guys will get much use out of them ?
there all one hits ! argh ok what i do though, I usually mic an acoustic snare and place one of my snare samples on top which usually adds a great attack so you couldnt really just bang one of these snares on by themselves you would have to combine them with a acoustic snare or sampled snare that has different velocities. the kindsa one hit snares i have is in flames snare ( im sure splatt used to use this in the technique mentioned above) erm other r decrepit birth dark funeral fear factory dissection cradle dimmu hypocrisy stryper (seriously) haha the snares match up with the kicks basically but seriously you would have to combine these and use them strickly for attack but this does work rather well if done correctly. Oh and on another note i just got 2 new cabs today a bognar and engl2x12 (havent tried em out yet) will upload some clips later. erm but yeah if u guys think u can make means on the snares in this fashion i will upload them but i dont wanna any bitching people saying ohhhh theres one hits there useless ! ok i will put these up later cheers guys. Ok here's some snares, there all one hit samples so remember these work best when combined with a snare thats got multisamples/different velocites.
There all in the one wav file so you'll have to pick out the snares you like. I usually would add one of these snares for snap or depth but wouldn't recommend using them alone. Anyways see what you can can do with em anyone puts em in a mix id love to hear the results cheers. http://www.mediafire.com/?0jmdmx591mj |

There's some cool snares in there! Thanks!
As far as the single hits, I think we've seen from the Thrice session that blending single hit samples with real drums can yeild good results. BTW, are these pulled from albums? |
