Mercury tide question

Anyone know if this band is still active. Just curious as I cant get the site to open, so I was wondering if Dirk is still with these guys, if not what is he up to?

The Mercury Tide site has been down for a while - not sure if we should be too worried as Bernd Aufermann's own website is on and off now and again.

Can I make an outrageous speculation...? That despite all he's said, Dirk Thurisch has canned Mercury Tide and is back with Angel Dust... Oh OK - that's just in the realms of wishful thinking!

Mercury Tide was a huge flop. I doubt you'll ever hear any more from that band.
