I like the typical speed-songs better ! And I rediscovered "Dream With Me" yesterday. It is so fuckin' nice, as you said, "moving" ![]()

Great Kalmakoff! :spin:
If you like "Matters...." you should probably try "Undead" next. And join us on the Tad Morose board. There's one here on UM as well, in case you haven't noticed *hint* |

![]() I saw VR live in January when they were touring with Savatage, so I saw him as well. I had seen VR years ago when Carl Albert was still their vocalist (R.I.P.) and I didn't really know what to expect but I have to say: they rock Great gig.@ Kalmakoff: Oulu? You don't happen to know the guys from Sentenced? ![]() |

I saw V.R years ago with carl also....he had a great voice ![]()

Gaunerin: Nope, don't know any of them, but I've seen some of them at a local metal bar (what a surprise). Ville Laihiala actually lives about 1 km from my place.
13th angel: Yep, it is great. I discovered the band by accident a few years ago. I don't like the new singer (Ludolphy?) that much but there are some great songs on "Beyond the Sundown" as well. I haven't found their older stuff here, so I'll probably order some when someone gives me money!! ![]() |

I have a few Axel Rudi Pell cd's so yes, I do know.
Have you heard the new Rough Silk "Symphony of Life" ? It sounds to me like the band is going to a direction of sounding like Storyteller's Rain. That's not too big a surprise since Ferdy writes (I think) most of Rough Silk's music. I will buy some of the older stuff, but right now I'm waiting for my Conception order to arrive. |

Ha ha....yeah, I think you can tell that a bit It also occurred to me that I have seen him before when VR played as support for Blind Guardian in 1998. I cannot really remember that gig (*bows her head in shame*) but I think I wasn't exactly impressed at the time. This time though, as I already said, it was great and I wished they had played longer, just right before Savatage (Blaze got that slot instead ) |

I listened to some of their stuff, but it didn't impress me all that much. But I was short on time, so I didn't get a chance to listen to the stuff you guys recommended, and I really wasn't paying all that much attention But now that I hear that they're from Canada, they are good in my books no matter what @Kalmakoff - Believe me, I'm quite familiar with cold weather ![]() |
