John Bush = new voice of Burger King
If you have missed the voice of ARMORED SAINT/ex-ANTHRAX singer John Bush, start listening for John Bush voiceover on Burger King TV commercials, which should start airing for the holiday season. The first spot is for a Burger King credit card stocking stuffer, while the second spot is in conjunction with Xbox.
I bet they pay him more than he made in Anthrax (and that's not a dig at Anthrax either). I still hope to hear him with 'Thrax again, though. |

That's not retarded. Tons of people do it. Henry Rollins has done voiceovers for years. And so has Dee Snider (though I don't like his music). As a matter of fact, I bet Dee earned all of his riches that he pissed away in the early '90s back by doing TV work and voiceovers. It's a smart thing to do if you have a recognizeable or unique voice. I bet John may make more money doing these commercials now than he he ever did in the same amount of time in his music career (though he deserved to make more for his music of course).

I wish I had a voice like John, I´d be out talking to ladies all night (and make some cash doing voiceovers).

It seems John decided to make money another way. Music is for him something like a part-time job now. Sometimes things aren't what they seem. An upcoming update of the news section on the official site might tell more soon...

Kind of reminds me of when Krusty did that on the Simpsons for a toy he was releasing.

Yeah, making money is a pretty sad thing
At least he is just doing voice over work, whereas you have to actually punch in and flip the burgers, Cesspool.Last edited by MyHatred : November 17th, 2006 at 01:40 PM. |

I don't blame him for doing it, he has bills to pay like most people. It would have been better if he had done an ad for KFC mind you.
