What sim / impulse combination you guys prefer for stoner / doom type guitarsound, Sleep, High on Fire, YOB, Black Sabbath for example? I've been using HyBrit with ReCabinet 2.1 1960 impulses, but I'm not perfectly happy.

I have one, but can't play it in my apartment. I need to use amp sims for demoing and songwriting purposes.

My advice is buy a preamp e.g. Blackstar HT-Dual. Better than ampsims. They're quite cheap.

Welcome.

You will get about 1000 suggestions if you ask without telling what genre and sound you are after.

It's best to start a new thread and ask there, even better to post a link to some example videos on youtube that show the kind of sound you want.

No need to pollute this ampsim list thread with a normal discussion on the subject.

Maybe try running guitar pre with bass cabinet or dst plug w/bass amp. Worked well for Kyuss (hardware wise)....

For amp sims you might want to try these,

Aradaz Amp 2 Green

and BTE's Juicy 77

I found these two amp sims respond very nicely to KaltHallen Studio's T75 cab sims,

and with Let it burn's Orange 4x12 v30 impulses

I've been able to achieve some very nice vintage sounding tones using various combinations of these amps and cabs

Also, try KeFIR as your impulse loader. For some reason I get much better results using it than I do with LeCab.
