Are the sounds from the actual vsti? Wow. I think they sound really believable. Wan't to know more about this.

So... um... how is this related to Arch Enemy? Did they get Daniel to record the samples?

haha, this is lame, kinda...

i owned AD some years ago and asked for a metal pack a few times.
i always got very opaque answers from the AD team but in general it was like, "yeah, we'll see, that's actually a good idea but hmm, dunno, hmm..."
this is why i dumped AD and switched to superior. now, metal got kinda popular again and they are about to release a metal pack...

From that teaser it just sounds like AE playing for an advert....seriously doubt the product will sound anything like Doomsday/Anthems.

Sounds exactly like the original anthems of rebellion mix (with that distinctive d4 sample)... So...
I seriously doubt that myself...

I really don't like the sound from this video, the snare is horrible and the kick is even worse, the cymbals sound weird to me.

Yup .... you eating your words yet Jay .... LOL

Seriously those sound like dog dick. The cymbals are hella phasey, the toms are lifeless, the kick sounds like a beach ball and OMG flamming is horrible. Typical AD shit .... Then again they could have based this on St Anger then its usable other then the snare :P

FYI the audio demos on the site arent much better
http://www.xlnaudio.com/?page=produc...s&i_page=metal

The did some remixes using the pack and the cymbals sound total shit. I hate the fucking kick. Some of the toms seem usable and the snare is mediocre at best.

Like I said in the other thread about this, company demos never sound as good as what you can actually do with the product.
