When gigantour rolled around to Oz, I noticed that the stage was being preped with Line6 cabs. I didn't see any amps though. During the show I wasn't extremely impressed by the guitar tone. It was a very mid heavy, generic MD tone, and was pretty muddy.
Like I said, I didnt see any amps, but if that's an indication of his new gear, I'm not yet impressed.

No Andy is mixing the whole album but is also producing a few tracks as well (a few tracks are already recorded, if not most of them), but not the whole album... Unless they decide otherwise if things go as fine as we're all expecting them to be and decide to retrack everything, but I highly doubt so... Plus that would be a lot of troubles for Andy with the upcoming Sabbat tour in December...

OMG OMG OMG!! Listening now.....

...wow, not quite what I was expecting. It sounds very Megadeth, ie, I wouldn't have picked that Andy mixed it if it was played to me without the prior knowlegde. It's definately a mix that MD should have had ages ago. Unfortunately the song was only ok. It would have been better if the chorus didn't slow it down.
Still, I'm excited about this album now. Can't wait to hear the whole thing.
