Technical Death Metal
By far my favorite genre in my metal. Some people call it "wankery," and I respect that that's your opinion. My opinion is that music needs to convey feelings and at the same time be interesting. Anyways, discuss and recommend...

awesome
try capharnaum, Athiest, , Demilich, Carcarciass, pestilence.
i like jazz fusion bands as long as the jazz part isnt very dominating.

Legion is every bit as technical as, say, Necrophagist, it just emphasizes precision in rhythm playing over sweeps and pinch harmonics and other calling cards of the contemporary wanker metal scene.
